Synopsis:

 

Bella awakens from her transformation from human to vampire, not only keenly aware of her new abilities, but also of changes within the coven as Jacob has imprinted on her child, Renesmee. It appears Charlie has been attempting to contact the Cullens for updates on Bella’s illness. They intend to tell him she didn’t survive, which requires that they move out of Forks, WA to protect their identities. Jacob, desperate not to lose Renesmee tells Charlie that his daughter is in fact alive and well, and transforms into a werewolf before Charlie.

Several months pass uneventfully, with Carlisle monitoring Renesmee’s rapid growth. On an outing in the woods, a bitter Irina sees Renesmee from a distance, as she catches a snowflake from a great height. Because of this, Irina believes Renesmee to be an ‘immortal child’ (a major violation of the Volturi laws, as ‘immortal children’ are changed too young to be taught or controlled), and immediately goes to the Volturi to report the Cullen coven. The ever-vigilant Alice has a vision that the Volturi are coming after Renesmee and warns the rest of the Cullens. Shortly after, Alice disappears with Jasper, leaving behind a short goodbye note.

As the Volturi gather their army, the Cullens gather witnesses to attest to Renesmee’s birth and half-human parentage. Although initially appalled and reluctant to associate themselves with an ‘immortal child’, many of the Cullen’s friends realize this is not the case and side with them upon meeting Renesmee. In their preparations for the Volturi’s arrival, it is discovered that Bella does in fact have an ability: a powerful mental shield, which she can extend to protect others with practice.

As some of their potential witnesses are attacked and prevented from coming to support the Cullens, Carlisle and Edward finally face the reality that they may have to fight the Volturi despite their efforts to do otherwise. Some witnesses hesitate, but ultimately agree to stand with them in battle.

The Volturi arrive, led by Aro, who is eager to obtain the gifted members of the Cullen coven as part of his guard. Although Aro is persuaded that Renesmee is not an ‘immortal child’, he still believes she poses a risk. Alice and Jasper appear to attest to the existence of other children like Renesmee, and realize Aro won’t change his decision. Chaos breaks out and a battle ensues. Both sides undergo heavy casualties, but the Volturi lose and Aro is killed by Bella and Edward. However, it was revealed to be Alice’s vision that Aro saw. Ultimately, two more witnesses arrive: a fully grown vampire-human hybrid and his aunt, proving Renesmee is not a threat. In the end, Aro and his guards decide to retreat for the sake of self-preservation.

Back at the Cullen home, Alice gives us a glimpse into the future: Edward and Bella together with Jacob and a fully matured Renesmee. Edward reads Alice’s mind and feels happy that Renesmee has Jacob to protect her. Positive Points

·         Story is amazing, Bill Coldon manage to create an epic ending. The twist in the story is genius.

·         The movie thrills and excites the viewers of what will happen next, and it is a good thing.

·         Characters are amazing; they can make or break the hearts of the viewers.

·         Camera shot are great, very creative and effective it have established things that needs to be established.

·         Music adds to the chills of the audience.

·         Location is perfect; perfect for the characters.

·         Really a great movie, a great ending to end an epic movie.

 

Points to Critique

·         The edited face of the baby for me is a little bit off.

·         There is an effect where Edward chases Bella, and that is not a good thing. Effect at that point is a little bit off.

Synopsis

            The movie started at Albania where the funeral of the men whom Bryan had killed happens. During the ceremony, Murad Hoxha the father of Marko promises that they will take revenge to the family of Bryan. Meanwhile in Los Angeles, Bryan arrives at Kim’s house to take her on a driving lesson. Bryan learns that his ex-wife Lenore is currently having a porblem with her nes husband, and Kim is not there and has a boyfriend.

 

            After Lenore’s husband cancels their holiday to China, Bryan suggests that Kim and Lenore can join him in Instanbul after he has finished some work he has agreed to do. In Instanbul Kim and Lenore surprise Bryan.

 

            Bryan and Lenore have been taken. Bryan asks the help of Kim. Bryan then employs his unique tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers, one by one.

 

Positive Points

·                     The story for me is good. Very clever and interesting to watch.

·                     Camera shots are creative and artistic in spite of action scenes.

·                     Effects are realistic

·                     Actors are effective

·                     Sounds adds thrill to the story

·                     Expectations of the audience are given

·                     Taken 2 is very expected

Synopsis

            With her father suffering from extreme stroke, Seth (Vilma Santos) decided to bring him to Manang Elsa, a faith healer, who did the healing and prescribed a herbal medicine. When they were about to leave the place, someone from the line of customers fainted and was immediately brought inside. Upon arriving home, Seth’s housemaid Alma (Pokwang) is having a small party and Seth was invited to join but feeling drowsy, Seth decided to go to bed. When she was about to head for her room, a crow surprises her. Oddly, it mysteriously vanished.

The next day, she is welcomed by her father who has now regained his strength, thanks to the healing. Everyone in the town is astounded. Amazed at his grandfather’s new found health, Jed (Martin del Rosario), Seth’s perturbed son asked for help as his half-sister Cookie (Kim Chiu) acquired a renal disease called Glomerulonephritis and he, too, wanted to bring her to Manang Elsa.

Seth refused because if the result is terrible, she will be the one to be blamed by her ex-husband and its wife. But as Jed pleaded, Seth eventually agreed to give them the address without telling anyone that she is the referrer. When Seth arrived home, a party is going on. She’s extremely disappointed to see her father succumbing back to his old habit of drinking. Seth then found out what the visitors are up to: they also want to be healed. Ding, a policeman, is carrying a skin disease called psoriasis. Alma revealed a disease on her foot which is the cause of her preemption of migrating to Dubai. Chona, a neighbor is suffering from Goiter; Greta, another fellow neighbor protests about a lump in her breast and Cacai, a blind girl. Upon arriving to the premises of the faith healer, Melchor (Joel Torre), the assistant and brother informed them that Manang Elsa is sick and is refusing anyone. But due to Seth’s pleads, Manang Elsa eventually cured all of them. At the way home, Seth crossed paths with Jed and Cookie who is now secretly going to the faith healer.

Overnight passed and everyone except for Cookie were healed, she is taken to a hospital due to extreme fever. Seth is then confronted by his ex-husband much to her rage. Days passed and Cookie is finally healed. Seth then starts to notice the behavioral changes of the ones who are healed, they became passive and quiet. One night, everyone is terrified after Chona, the one who is formerly contracted with Goiter is found dead, after slashing her own neck with a pierced glass. At the funeral, Chona’s husband told Seth that Chona saw a crow in her dreams before she died. The batch of people who were healed spoke out the same dreams.

As time pass by, the batch of people who are healed became hysteric, angry and plain grim. After a blackout, Seth is visited by an entity who has the form of Greta, she stretched her neck towards her back and dispersed. Disturbed, Seth followed her. While the real Greta’s smoking, the entity who has her image possessed her. She then proceeded to kill her husband by decapitating him with a sword and then committed suicide by hanging herself. Later on, Seth saw Ding’s image walk past her while at a store. Seth phoned Ding trying to warn him. The real Ding is on a raid and when his own image possessed him, he began shooting everyone. The police are then forced to shot him dead.

Meanwhile, Alma panicked, knowing that she would be the next target. After the horrifying consequences, Seth is confused at why his father is not involved, so she asked him if ever a crow visited his dreams but to no avail. Seth, along with Cacai’s mother, Cita (Janice de Belen) decided to confront Manang Elsa about the chain of deaths but only to be informed by Melchor her brother that Manang Elsa is killed by Dario, the man who was thought to have only fainted but actually died due to heart attack.He revealed to her the secret of how Manang Elsa unknowingly “cured” the dead and now the life that was used to resuscitate him will cost the lives of the people that Manang Elsa “cured” after him. Melchor tells her the Best Way to destroy the curse is to Liquidate Dario.

Seth plotted to warn the others. While stuck on a traffic jam, Seth saw Alma’s evil image walk pass her van. Knowing that this is not the real Alma, Seth phoned Alma and warned her that her doppelganger is on its way to possess her. When Alma is on the verge of denial, Seth sneaks into her apartment to save her but Alma, who was already possessed by her doppelganger and after murdering her dorm mates, fatally immolates herself on fire. Afraid for her daughter’s life, Cita brought Cacai to a Chinese temple to be guarded by their relative monks. Inevitably, Seth saw Cacai’s image and warned Cita through a call. However, Cita is distracted because of the call during a dragon dance and lost Cacai who is then controlled by her doppelganger. Cacai massacred the praying monks and murdered herself by falling into flagpoles, much to Cita’s misery. Seth is haunted by the spirits of the fallen and blamed her for their death because Seth is the key to the healer.

Now, only one is left: Cookie. Determined to save her, Seth and Jed (who finally knew everything) took Cookie to a secluded house and installed CCTV cameras to monitor her. To end the curse, Seth went to the jail to see Dario (Jhong Hilario) and decided to bring him food that she poisoned. Dario revealed to her that he is not Dario, instead a different entity.He warned her that those who got cured by Manang Elsa will be Possessed by their own alter-egos and their souls shall be offered to him,He then told her the Best Way to end the bloodshed and the continuous spread of the curse is to liquidate him, Seth discarded the plan of poisoning him as she can’t kill someone. When she got to the house where Cookie is hiding, she saw the own image of Cookie who is yet to possess the real one, she managed to get rid of her. Thinking that Seth killed Cookie’s doppelganger, she let Cookie back in her house. Surprisingly, Cookie saw her doppelganger again; it chased her and possessed her. The possessed Cookie appeared at Seth’s house and attacked her with a knife. As she was about to get stabbed to death, Jed arrived and stopped Cookie.

As the fight goes on, Cookie’s doppleganger created another doppleganger in Jed’s image who then tried to strangle Seth. Dario, who is behind bars is anticipating the new life that will be transported to him but then Melchor, Manang Elsa’s brother shot him dead. The doppelgangers vanished. Melchor is pinned down by officers. Seth and Jed shook off the unconscious Cookie who then woke up jumpily for one final scare.

 

Positive Points

·                     The story is good. For me, this kind of story is the trademark of Chito Rono. The story makes the audience think what will happen next.

·                     Camera shots are good. It established things that are supposed to be established.

·                     Actor’s suits their characters perfectly; they are effective in giving what the story needs.

·                     Locations are good, it adds thrill to the movie.

·                     Sounds are in perfect timing, it scares the viewers.

·                     Expectations are mostly delayed, it adds to the thrilling part of the movie.

·                     Big check for this movie.

 

Points to Critique

·                     Effects are a little bit funny, on how they establish the doppelganger of the characters did not work for me, It is unbelievable.

·                     I did not understand the colors. Did not get the symbolism.

Anything is possible with a Pisces, so when it comes to dessert, the surest bet is to prepare yourself for improvisation.

The safest flavor is Vanilla, because the Pisces does have a tender palette and likes mild flavors. They aren’t experimental like Aquarius so you don’t have to dress up the vanilla ice cream with weird toppings. That is, unless the Pisces asks you to. And that’s the reality of it, is that your Pisces date might just ask you for a side of crackers with the ice cream, or else wonder if you’ve got any pineapples you could throw into the bowl. Take note, because they do love their fruit, so make sure you have a few choices in stock before inviting them over. And no matter how weird their tastes seem to you, don’t say a word, for true to being a water sign, the sensitive Pisces can take offence to even the mildest criticism.

• The story is good. For me, this kind of story is the trademark of Chito Rono. The story makes the audience think what will happen next.
• Camera shots are good. It established things that are supposed to be established.
• Actors suits their characters perfectly, they are effective in giving what the story needs.
• Locations are good, it adds thrill to the movie.
• Sounds are in perfect timing, it scares the viewers.
• Expectations are mostly delayed, it adds to the thrilling part of the movie.

Points to Critique

• Effects are a little bit funny, on how they establish the doppelganger of the characters did not work for me, It is unbelievable.
• I did not understand the colors. Did not get the symbolism.

Synopsis

The movie started at Albania where the funeral of the men whom Bryan had killed happens. During the ceremony, Murad Hoxha the father of Marko promise that they will take revenge to the family of Bryan. Meanwhile in Los Angeles, Bryan arrives at Kim’s house to take her on a driving lesson. Bryan learns that his ex-wife Lenore is currently having a problem with her new husband, and Kim is not there and has a boyfriend.

      After Lenore’s husband cancels their holiday to China, Bryan suggest that Kim and Lenore can join him in Istanbul after he has finished some work he has agreed to do. In Istanbul Kim and Lenore surprise Bryan.

       Bryan and Lenore have been taken. Bryan ask the help of Kim. Bryan then employs his unique tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers, one by one.
